Sarah Villeneau

Sarah has been a practising ceramicist for over 20 years. She lives in Doncaster and works from an

eco-built studio overlooking Sheffield city centre. As a selected member of Design Nation and the Royal Society of Sculptors, she exhibits nationally and internationally - her last big adventure was to exhibit in Japan in 2019. She makes one-off hand built vessel forms and abstract sculptures and is increasingly looking at the incorporation of found objects and non-ceramic materials in her work. 

Sarah worked as an artist in schools and the community across South Yorkshire for many years before completing an MA in 2014 when she started concentrating more on her own work. She now has a portfolio career combining these approaches. 

Sarah is also an accredited Coach for Visual Artists.
